Taunton Piano Lessons began as one teacher sharing a love of piano with local students. As more students joined, talented tutors came on board, and together we’ve grown into a friendly community offering piano, guitar, violin, drums, bass and more - helping students in Taunton and Bridgwater enjoy making music.

Over the years, Taunton Piano Lessons has grown from a small piano studio into a vibrant network of local musicians and tutors. Our aim has always been simple — to make learning music enjoyable, accessible, and inspiring for everyone. With lessons now available in piano, guitar, violin, drums, bass and more, our friendly team supports students of all ages across Taunton and Bridgwater. Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to music after a break, we tailor every lesson to help you build confidence and creativity at your own pace.

Where Lessons Are

We offer private music lessons in Bridgwater and Taunton, as well as high-quality online lessons for students who prefer to learn from home.

 

Lessons usually take place at the tutor’s home studio or online via video call, depending on availability and preference.

 

Both in-person and online lessons are suitable for beginners through to more advanced students.

BEGINNER PIANO LESSONS

Ages 6 to 100

Starting music lessons for the first time is an exciting step, and our tutors love helping new students discover the joy of playing an instrument. Whether you’re 6 or 86, beginner lessons focus on building strong foundations in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Students learn the basics of their instrument, develop rhythm and coordination, and begin understanding how music works — all while enjoying the process of making music and growing in confidence.
