Things You Might Want To Know

I teach from my home piano studio in Bridgwater

every weekday from 3.30pm into the evening.

My teaching day is split into half hour and hourly lessons; adult students normally come for an hour, and children for half an hour. Many adults come fortnightly depending on their schedule, and I can be flexible with timing. Children come weekly.

I accept payment by cash or cheque and weekly students can miss one week per month at no charge if they give notice. I also have a 24 hour cancellation policy which always applies.   I sell gift vouchers -  just contact me via this site and I'll make sure it's with you before the big day.

Every term there is the option of being entered for ABRSM practical or theory exams, exam fees do have to be paid by the candidate, but they start at only £35. Every term I also hold a Piano Party for all my students and their parents/partners  - a chance for you to to play, socialise with other students and enjoy some tea and cake.

You can relax in the knowledge that I have been teaching children since 2008 and have an enhanced DBS Clearance.

Children's lessons are for 30 minutes, and I charge £18 a lesson. Books are paid for by parents but only come to about £20 for the year.

I normally teach adult students for an hour at a time as we find that we can cover so much and make real progress.

You can come weekly or fortnightly, and the cost is £35.  Books are paid for by the student but normally would not exceed £30 for the year.

If you've never played before - don't worry! Help is at hand. I have taught nearly 100 people how to play the piano and know that I can teach you too.

Beginner lessons can be either for an hour or half an hour at a time, and  I charge £18/£35 a lesson respectively. Books for a beginner would not normally exceed £20 for the year.
